PLNTD started with a simple question:
Why does eating well feel so hard when it should make life easier?
In the American food system, convenience is often built on compromise. A Personal Beginning
This mission is personal for me.
I lost my father to cancer connected to long-term dietary habits, and that experience changed the way I looked at food. It made me more aware of how deeply food impacts not just physical health, but energy, clarity, and longevity. I also saw how few realistic options existed for people who wanted to eat better but didn’t have the time or capacity to do everything from scratch.
I began helping people in my community eat better by preparing food that was nourishing, flavorful, and practical—meals that felt like care, not restriction. That work became the foundation for PLNTD.
